Camera Troubles

I don't have many pictures to post because of my camera troubles! Sorry =( 

 

Friday, January 13th

On Friday, I had my last class of the week- 'London History'. Then hung out for a bit, and went to Greenwich Park to watch the sunset =) Greenwich Park has an amazing view of the London skyline. It was my favorite time of the day- where its almost night time in the east and the west is drenched in the sunset. The time of day where the lighting almost makes everything glow and that makes every site beautiful. =) Regardless- I forgot my camera =/ but I'll be back there again =P

Went out at night to a club called Amsherm Arms, pretty cool place. But it ended up being an early night because my friends got kicked out! lol It wasn't a big ordeal- they were dancing up on this ledge thing that some people were dancing on earlier in the night, and they were escorted out. lol So the rest of the group and I left with them too.

Saturday, January 14th

Today was a bit of an off day. My program- CEA provided bus tour tickets for us (that i paid for at one point). But my camera ended up dieing like right away. So I'm going to do the tour tomorrow- the tickets are good for 48 hours. You were able to jump on and off the buses at the different stops so I got off at the one by Buckingham Palace. I ended up catching the end of the changing of the guards ceremony! But it was so ridiculously crowded, it was so hard to see. They set up barricades and everything! It was crazy. I'm going to go back on a week day- with a charged camera =P

Then I went over to the Canary Wharf area for an ice sculpting festival- that was free. I walked around the area for a while. Then headed over to the ice sculptures. It was sooo crowded too =/ but the sculptures were awesome.
